Rogaine For Women Review

Hey Girls, today I am going to be writing a Rogaine For Women Review. Back when I saw the TV ads for Rogaine, I was pretty much convinced that this product was purely for men, but recently a friend messaged me and said that she had tried it for her hair and that I should try and review it for femalehairlossreview.com. So here we are! I am going to looking at everything to do with Rogaine for Women to find out if it is legit or not before finally sharing my personal 1-month case study with Rogaine for women.

What Does Women's Rogaine Claim To Do?

Hair loss starts when your hair follicles begin to shrink and die. There are many shampoos out there that claim to prevent hair follicles dying, but Women's Rogaine claims to do that and also to grow new hair follicles.

That may sound like a bold claim but Women's Rogaine is the only topical solution for hair loss, recommended by Dermatologists for hair regrowth treatment.

Rogaine For Men vs Women

Minoxidil is the active ingredient in Rogaine for both men and women. The only difference between men's and women's Rogaine is that Women's Rogaine contains two per cent minoxidil while men's Rogaine comes with a five per cent of minoxidil and which is FDA-approved.

Rogaine For Women Ingredients

The active ingredient in Women's Rogaine Minoxidil Foam is 5 per cent minoxidil but the full list is:

Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), Cetyl Alcohol, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Glycerol Anhydrous, Lactic Acid, Polysorbate 60, Propellant Aeropin 70 (propane, Butane, Isobutane), Purified Water, SD Alcohol 40-B, Stearyl Alcohol.

How To Use Rogaine For Women

When my friend suggested adding Women's Rogaine to my hair care routine, I immediately ordered some and I incorporated Women's Rogaine into my daily hair care routine straight away. I started applying it at least once a day in the morning or evening.

You can also apply it twice a day; you need to use Women's Rogaine to your scalp directly. Avoid applying it to your hair.

Rogaine For Women Before and After

I am writing this Women's Rogaine Review after using the product for over 1 month. At first for me Women's Rogaine worked like magic. It did not only stop hair loss, but it also re-grew my fallen out hair follicles.

I had thicker and younger-looking hair in just a month. I had heard that Women's Rogaine might take up to three or six months to stop hair loss and regrow hair, but I could see amazing results in just a month.

Once I stopped using Women's Rogaine Minoxidil Foam, my hair started to thin and fall out once again which wasn't great. For me personally that means using Rogaine for women would be quite an expensive solution since I would need to order a bottle every single month. I remember reading somewhere that someone had probably found a cure for hair loss but hadn't figured out how to turn it into a monthly subscription model. That is obviously just a conspiracy but it made me think of this product a little bit.

Rogaine For Women Reviews

Currently on Amazon Rogaine for women over 690 reviews. Unlike some of the other shampoos, I have reviewed. Their rating doesn't match up. Don't get me wrong many people gave them like Women's Rogaine but many people who left a review weren't 100% satisfied with something. Some complaints I read on some beauty forums include it not working for African American hair, no hair growth results, even worse hair loss after using it, the latest product having a watered down consistency and other terrible complaints.

Interestingly enough, one of reviews I read on a blog mentions using Women's Rogaine in conjunction with Propidren, which is a product I have already reviewed. After reading that blog post, I am left wondering if the results were from Rogaine or Propidren. There is also a second blog post mentioning the same thing. Perhaps that is just a dirty marketing trick from Propidern. We will never know.

Another hair loss shampoo with excellent ratings on Amazon is Hairfluence. They have also have thousands of reviews

Women's Rogaine Side Effects

Though I didn't experience any side effects while using Women's Rogaine, there are still some effects that you could encounter while using Rogaine for Women.

Scalp irritation, itchiness, dryness, and redness are the most common side effects that you may experience while using Women's Rogaine.

Some even experienced changes in the colour or texture of their hair. In that case, you need to stop using the Women's Rogaine. As you can see, though, for the most part, this foam formula is most effective and safe.

You must see a doctor if you experience any of these side effects:

  • Chest pain
  • Low or high blood pressure
  • Shortness of breath
  • Swollen hands or feet
  • Unexplained weight gain
  • Faintness or dizziness
  • Rapid heartbeat

In case you start experiencing any of these side effects, you need to stop using the product and go see a doctor immediately. I am not a medical professional and the content written in this review is not medical advice.

Final Thoughts

womens-rogaine-box

My experience with Women's Rogaine was terrific to start with. It gave me thicker hair that was more beautiful-looking.

But, still, I would not recommend this product as this is quite expensive and the results were temporary. As soon as I stopped using this product, my hair started to thin and fall out again.

There are several better hair loss shampoos and products which are way cheaper and control hair loss to a great extent.

The results from using Rogaine for women were good, but for me, the product is too pricey, and if the results are temporary, I would not recommend it.
