My Propidren By HairGenics Review 2023
Recently I discovered you could get vitamin supplements for Female Hair Loss; I can't believe it took me so long to find to be completely honest.
One of the most popular ones is from a Propidren by Hairgenics.
I decided I was going to try their hair supplements, and that is exactly what I have been doing for the last couple of weeks. I am going to share my experience in this propidren review.
Propidren by Hairgenics is interesting because it claims to block the terrible effects that DHT has on hair, which I believe is the cause of my hair loss issues.
Instead of a hair shampoo that works from the outside Propidren claims to do the opposite, which in my head makes more sense.
Propidren however, also sell a hair Shampoo, so I guess I will have to take a further look at all of their claims and what they stand for.
Propidren Ingredients
If this is your first FemaleHairLossReview.com, then let me tell you that in every single hair product review I love to take a look at the ingredients inside of the products.
That is the only way you can know if a product is legit or not. This propidren review is going to be no different.
Zinc & Iron
If you don't know what is causing your hair loss, then it could be either a Zinc or Iron deficiency.
If that is the case, then you are somewhat lucky because that means your reverse hair and regrow long lushes thick locks.
You might be thinking that you eat well and get plenty of Zinc & Iron, but it's not always about how much you eat but actually how well your body absorbs the nutrients.
Conditions that can affect how well your body absorbs Zinc & Iron include IBS, Diabetes and other diseases.
Also if you are Vegan, then that could be a cause for hair loss, but that's a whole different topic I would rather not delve into with this propidren review.
Biotin
Biotin AKA Vitamin H is an ingredient that was included in Lipogaine and Hair Restoration, another two of my favorite Hair Growth Shampoos.
The only information I found it last time was from one study where a girl took Biotin orally for her thinning hair.
The study 90 to 180 days for any results to show but eventually, they did notice improvements in the girl's hair. It's also worth noting that there were no adverse effects, which is a bonus.
Saw Palmetto
I first came across the Saw Palmetto Ingredient when reviewing OGX Fight Fallout Shampoo.
Saw Palmetto is supposedly a natural DHT blocker which if accurate means you want to try hair growth products that include this since DHT is the hormone that causes your hair follicles to die and fall out in the first place.
Propidren is, of course, an oral supplement and OGX is a shampoo so I'm not sure which would be the best method to get the full effects of Saw Palmetto. Ideally, it would probably be both.
Horsetail & Nettle Extract
These are two ingredients I have not used a lot yet in my hair care products, so I just had to do a bit of research. Nettle Extract can block DHT hormones, which is what causes your hair to fall out.
If that is true, then I want to try more Nettle Extract products in the future.
For horsetail extract, I couldn't find much information, but I presume it may have a similar effect the nettles have.
I did use Ultrax Labs Hair Rush before which also included Nettle Extract, and that did help regrow hair on my head thicker, so maybe there is something to this Nettle Extract ingredient for hair loss.
Propidren vs Doing it Yourself
Since I have listed the ingredients above, You might be thinking what is to stop you from going out yourself and sourcing each ingredient. The answer to that is nothing.
You could do that but let me tell you sourcing Horsetail, and Nettle Extract is a pain, and it gets costly when you need to start buying things like Saw Palmetto.
Then there is the question of getting the correct doses and taking the time to prep everything.
Even thinking about that right now is giving me a headache which probably isn't great for my already thinning hair. I would highly recommend just to buy the capsules if you value your sanity.
Propidren Reviews
You only need to take one quick look at the Amazon Reviews for Propidren to know there is something special about this hair product.
Currently, in Nov 2021 they have over 14,000 reviews from real customers, and 72% of those are all 5 star reviews. It is quite incredible since most hair loss products never get that many 5 star reviews.
The Reviews from customers claim that after taking Propidren for roughly 3 months their hair started growing back and bald spots started filling in which fits the time scale for the Biotin study I linked to earlier.
Another product I recently reviewed called Art Naturals also had excellent reviews. That is worth checking out if you are looking for a shampoo.
Like any hair loss product, Propidren is not perfect. So far, in Nov 2021 they have received quite a lot of - 1 star reviews.
Customers have complained that Propidren does not work for hair growth. It's worth keeping in mind however that the vast majority of Propidren Reviews are still positive.
Propidren Side Effects
If you are over the age of 21 and not pregnant, taking 2 Propidren most likely won't have any significant side effects.
WebMD says that Saw Palmetto might bring on Dizziness, Headaches, Nausea, Vomiting and Constipation.
For me personallyI didn't have any side effects from Propidren during my 3 months taking it.
WebMD also states those side effects are just likely to occur with a sugar pill. To be 100% safe if you notice anything strange when taking Propidren, you should stop taking it and see a registered health professional ASAP.
HealthLine also states much of the same information as WebMD when it comes to the side effects of Saw Palmetto, the main ingredient in Propidren.
Please also make sure to keep Propidren away from Children under 6 since products containing high amounts of Iron are a leading cause in fatal poisoning.
I am not qualified to give medical advice. The information in this post is not medical advice. Consult with your doctor if you experience any side effects.
My Experience With Propidren
I first started using Biotin 3 months ago, and I have been taking it in the morning and evening every day without fail.
Before I a bit of a bald spot on the front of my head. Today as I write this Propidren review, the bald spot has now disappeared like some kind miracle.
I don't know if it was because I was deficient in Zinc or Iron, but I don't care because whatever was causing my hair loss was reversed by taking Biotin.
If you are wondering how long it will take to grow new hair with Propidren, I would say that 3 months is the average time for most people.
You have to be consistent with it an be patient with it since it's not a quick fix. Propidren are also so confident in their product that they offer a 100-day money back guarantee, which says a lot. There isn't much risk there.
Final Thoughts
There is a lot of good & positive things to like about Propidren by hairgenics, and I can personally vouch in my propidren review for it working to stop hair loss and thinning. For $38.98 and free shipping, it is excellent value.
The only downsides I can think of are that it takes quite a long time to notice any hair regrowth and that the capsules are big to swallow.
If you don't mind those two things, then I think you are going to love Propidren.
You may be able to speed up results by using a combination of the capsules and Propidren hairgenics Shampoo, but I haven't used the latter so can't vouch for it right now.
The Bottom Line: Should You Buy Propidren?
Propidren clearly works and is trusted by many.
Their product is real and not a scam.
With that being said, my recent experiments show that it falls behind the high standards set by Folexin (my recommendation) which is a cheaper similar supplement.
Folexin has natural ingredients, works for girls, is simple to use and is actually cheaper than Propidren.
Most importantly, the hair growth results I experienced from Folexin were better which is why it is my number 1 recommendation right now.
Propidren has done wonders for my hair <3
